Faultless service, breathtaking views and incredible food at Coq D'Argent. My husband booked this as a surprise for our anniversary and from the moment we took the lift up to the rooftop, everything was perfect! The dining room was beautiful but we chose to sit on the terrace as it was beautiful weather. It was heated and had blankets as well for when it is colder. The crusty mini loaf they brought to start was delicious. I had the signature lamb shank and he had the entrecote, both were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Kayes our waiter was so lovely, friendly and efficient and had us smiling throughout the meal. The drinks terrace is huge with unbelievable views over London's city skyline. Lots of space for drinks and a huge space! Greg the Manager and Lorena were brilliant and run all extremely busy space amazingly for the number of covers! Extensive wine list (over 700 options!) Highly recommend but would call ahead and book first to avoid disappointment. Great for couples, friends and large groups as they have different areas to serve everyone.
Friends and I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. It’s a hidden gem in the city. The views from the rooftop are spectacular. The areas are well maintained and many photo opportunities for memories. The staff were wonderful and catered to our every need above and beyond they were led by head waiter Lenny who was fantastic in his service. Lenny was interested in his guests and gave pleasant conversation which we were delighted by and just hearing how much of the world he had seen was a great pleasure adding to the delight of the dining experience in such a lovely atmosphere. The rooftop views are spectacular and time was still spent taking photo opportunities to save happy memories. We will definitely go back there again and we will have lunch and stay till it closes. Drinks were perfect and selections plentiful. 10/10 all day long. Well done team.
Food incredible, really great quality. We went for the Sunday menu and we found the place welcoming and all staff friendly, attentive and well prepared. A lot of vegetarian options. We will be back.
Popped in for a quick lunch with friends. They had a lunchtime special which was very reasonable at 20 for a steak and desert. The food is beautifully presented and full of flavour. Really top notch. The English beef onglet was really scrumptious. The Creme brulee was absolutely perfect. Everyone had an excellent meal and if you’re looking for really excellent French style food I’d highly recommend Coq d’Argent.
An excellent celebration dinner with my partner and her close friends. We all had the three-course seasonal set menu: I chose the burrata, pan-fried sea bream, and chocolate fondant. Every dish was amazing, including the ones I got to sample from everyone else's plates! We were given some delicious complimentary petits fours at the end, then headed to the terrace for some great views of the city at night. The staff were kind and attentive. Highly recommend!
All dishes were delicious, especially the tarte tatin. The service was awesome, staff were friendly. I really enjoyed the lunch.
Had a fabulous meal tonight. We wondered in unexpectedly without a booking, the atmosphere was lovely and got seated quickly. Staff were really attentive, and food was to die for! Will definitely be back!!
Excellent food, high quality ingredients and great service. The sharing T-bone was the real highlight, perfect amount for two to share. We also tried the truffled mash, tuna tartare and ravioli to start. The tuna tartare was okay, nothing excellent (7/10) - Ravioli was very good (8.5/10) A little on the pricy side, we visited as a group of three and with one bottle of wine the bill was around 120 pp (inc service) Worth trying to get a table in the outdoor area for a sunny day - the restaurant gets busy around 7pm.
